Saturday Morning Popular Re-Post: Virginia is For “Lego” Lovers [RVA]
This is one of my favorite all-time works of Street Art. It was up in Shockoe Bottom during Arts in the Alley (2008) and one of the very first photos I posted on this blog. Unfortunately, it is no longer there. I’m not sure who did this amazing piece but I just love it.

This was one of the first murals we did as Arts in the Alley – I had no idea you guys had featured this! That’s so cool! Yeah, we’re pretty bummed that it’s gone, but that’s what happens to murals, sometimes. We’d love to connect with you guys – we’re a group of volunteer artists, designers, and “paint-by-numbers” people who clean up RVA alleys and streets and then turn them into outdoor art galleries by painting murals. We’ve done three other locations since the Shockoe Bottom one and we have an Arts in the Alley on the calendar for Greater Fulton April 14-15.

Very cool Jeanine. I would love to link up for a chat as well. “You guys” is just one guy. I run the site solo. Feel free to email me at TheCheatsMovement@gmail.com
