NEW RVA HIP HOP: DRANO’S “CITY OF GOD” PREVIEW

The homie Drano is just about ready to release, “City of God,” his following up album to The Night Driver. With already one of my favorite RVA hip hop albums of the year [The Night Driver] – not to mention killing his features on the JPS X Doom mixtape, “Weekends in Latveria,” Drano is my frontrunner for having the most underrated year in RVA hip hop. I’m sure he’s looking to change that with, “City of God.” Drano “The Don” blessed me with the title track and a bonus track, “What I Rap For…”. Drano’s skills can’t be denied. He dominates just about every track he jumps on and his flow has a quality that makes you rewind the track and listen to it again and again. RVA’s hip hop scene needs a Drano but don’t take my word for it. Check out the tracks:
