I’LL BE BRIEF: THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT [OPEN THREAD FOR COMMENTS]

President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, sit for a family portrait in the Oval Office, Dec. 11, 2011. I don’t normally do this – okay maybe I do – but I need to take a quick second to thank President Obama, the First Lady Michelle Obama, and the entire first family.

Mr. President, I know that the job was unbelievably difficult. I know the climate was extremely divisive, and in many ways, you did not accomplish all the change that you wanted to bring to Washington. But you handled the office with such class and grace. Your family gave my family a First Family that we are extremely proud of. And you gave the country so much more.  I am forever grateful for your service to our country. I wish you and your family all the best as you transition out of office.

Family, I know there are a lot of emotions today. How do you feel? What message would you like to post — the comments are all yours. #WESEEIT
