FAITH LEADERS, POLITICIANS, AND COMMUNITY PEACEFULLY GATHERED TO SEND MESSAGE OF UNITY AGAINST WHITE SUPREMACY

The face of 32-year-old Heather Heyer is behind Mayor Levar Stoney as he addresses the gathering at Reconciliation statue. 

Governor McAuliffe stood before the large audience that gathered in front of Richmond Reconciliation statue to give a message to white supremacist protesters, the Alt-Right, Neo-Nazis, and all those that are encouraging hate against humanity, “Get out,” said the Governor. “You’re not welcome in our Commonwealth.” The message was reinforced by Mayor Levar Stoney and Rep. Donald McEachin. The peaceful gathering that was organized by Del. Delores McQuinn and other faith leaders to serve as a statement that unity will overcome division.
