I feel that I never really understood community until I moved to Richmond. While in Richmond, I found that no matter what there is always someone willing to help me get to where I need to go to better myself and my visions as an individual, a designer, a blogger, a person. In the process, I’ve grown to realize that no matter how focused I am to achieve a goal, it is my duty as a human and as a member of the Richmond community to stop and help others along the way, otherwise, what good are my endeavors? Community to me is the greater good of human nature. It is composed of many colorful individuals to help create a beautiful system of care and attention to better everyone. It puts a smile on my face just thinking about it. -Keeley Laures, Artist, Graffiti Richmond
