BLACK EXCELLENCE: HAMILTON GLASS CREATED 225 PAINTINGS IN 4 MONTHS FOR J. VAN STORY BRANCH APTS

When my homie Hamilton Glass told me he was in the process of creating 225 paintings for one apartment building project. I told him that he was a mad man. He told me he loved the project and was really excited about it.

We both pondered exactly how he was going to get it all done in such a short time period. However, in normal Superman fashion, not only did HAM? get it done, the paintings look amazing. Please check out the video explaining more about the project.

The more I learned about the J. Van Story Branch apartments, the more excited I became that Hamilton was involved. The 350 unit, 20-story highrise, will be the home to elderly and nonelderly disabled residence. The apartments are located in Baltimore, Maryland.

It’s often the case that we tend to normalize the talents of extraordinary people who are close to us, simply because we are used to them displaying their remarkable talent. Hamilton Glass, outside of the beautiful murals he has become known for, is making his mark through the creation of Mending Walls, through his collaboration work with youth, through his charitable auctions, and so many other avenues that many may not be fully aware of. Hamilton Glass is Black excellence on full display. #WESEEIT
