BLACK EXCELLENCE: HAMILTON GLASS FEATURED IN YOUTUBE ORIGINALS “BLACK RENAISSANCE”

The homie Hamilton Glass continues to make history — continues to move community and culture forward — and continues to put Richmond on the map.

This time, the artist better known as HAM?, is featured in YouTube Originals “Black Renaissance: The Art and Soul of Our Stories.” HAM? is featured alongside President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Kelly Rowland, H.E.R., Stacey Abrams, Killer Mike, Anderson .Paak, Tobe Nwigwe, and many more.

In the film, Hamilton is shown painting a community mural at Meadowbrook High School. On his Facebook post, he wrote, “If you know my work, then you know how much community means to me. To be able to reflect that in the YouTube special, “Black Renaissance” amongst living legends who are shaping and defining culture is literally one of the biggest highlights of my career! In the words of Killer Mike:
‘Community is our light and source of replenishment,’ and I was beyond honored to create a mural based on Killer Mike’s poem at Meadowbrook High School. Special thanks to Communities In Schools of Chesterfield for partnering with me.”
