EVERYTHING WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT NOAH-O X FAN RAN’S ‘CEREAL & SILK MILK’ VIDEO
Noah-O X Fan Ran just released a new visual for “Cereal & Silk Milk” off of their Dirty Rice Deux project. The video is directed by BC Music 1st. I hit Noah to learn all I needed to know about the back story of this new cinematic work.
- Noah is a fan of cereal and almond silk milk. “I do eat cereal with silk milk, lol. I haven’t drunk cow milk since about 2001, Silk Milk tastes better and humans don’t need all that dairy to be healthy.”
- Noah and Fan Ran really started “vibing” in 2016. “(Fan) Ran and I had known each other for years in passing but around 2016 we sat down and just vibed. I noticed Ran had an ear for raw music and overall an appreciation for all styles of rap. Seeing what he was listening to really opened my eyes up to a whole world of sounds and other artists. Once we started kicking it, we learned that we had a lot of similarities in music, fashion, and lifestyle. We both have dark senses of humor and appreciation for ignorance. Our birthdays are close together too, that’s my brother.”
- Dirty Rice merch, like the shirt in the video, is still available. “Ran and I collaborated on the shirt design and the artist Brad D did the art. The shirt in the video was a merch piece we dropped with Dirty Rice 1 and it was based on a photo of me passed out drunk.”
- Noah used to be a gamer. “I used to game but now I don’t have the time or patience so I have that for my sons. I am a big “Street Fighter II” fan since I was a kid. That game changed fighting games and shaped the culture period. The logos, art, characters all that. I have all types of Street Fighter 2 toys, comics; I am just a big kid.
- Yes, that is a real Noah-O cereal box. But more on that collaboration later. Stay tuned to the Cheats Movement for that story.
Dirty Rice Deux is available on all streaming platforms.
Enjoyed the read! I also have become a big fan of Fan Ran as an artist and producer of music. His music gives me the nostalgia I enjoy the most. Really enjoyed this collaboration, and I also live the collab Fan had on Illa Stylez album a Quarter to a Million. Shout out Noah for his weekly freestyle. We enjoy listening and seeing you rap!
