FUGGIN DOE IS BACK WITH “YOU’RE WELCOME”

The election is over (thank Gawd). It’s time to get back to fun things: culture, hip-hop, sneakers, hip-hop, hoops, hip-hop, art, hip-hop; did I mention hip-hop?

I haven’t posted about hip-hop (outside of protest music) since March, and I have mixed feelings about exactly how to get back to posting general music. I don’t want to move too far away from critical issues like the pandemic and racial unrest, BUT there are amazing things being created all over Richmond, and I don’t want all of them to fall silent.

Fuggin Doe is one of my favorites. I don’t exactly know what it is, his music just hits me. It’s fun, it’s funny, it’s creative, and it’s just dope. Doe doesn’t disappoint with his new track “You’re Welcome.” He brings witty bars over boom-bap; Doe’s receipt for success. Check it out. #WESEEIT
