NOAH SCALIN NAMED 2019 RICHMOND FOLK FESTIVAL POSTER ARTIST, WILL REVEAL ART AS A MURAL

Long-time friend of The Cheats Movement and “New Legacy” co-creator Noah Scalin has been named the 2019 poster artist for the 15th-anniversary of the Richmond Folk Festival.

Scalin, a nationally acclaimed artist, will debut the art as a giant mural on the side of The Broadberry. He will be painting live on August 7, 8, and 9 (weather permitting) from around 9 AM to 12:30 PM. The entire Richmond community is encouraged to come out.

Not only is Scalin and award-winning artist, the lead singer of the popular band The League of Space Pirates was as also the first-ever artist-in-residence at the VCU School of Business.
