RVA STAPLE LEE’S CHICKEN GETS ITS PROPER RESPECT IN NEW HONGO1 X NOAH-O VISUAL

Richmond MC Noah-O has been on an unprecedented run in 2020. The TRILLipino rhyme spitta has released eight albums in his Deadstock series. You read that right, 8 albums! In March, he hooked up with NYC producer Hongo1 of the Santana Brothers to release Live Poultry Vol. 1.

Unfortunately, with the emergence of COVID-19 and all the civil unrest happening in our city and nation, Noah’s consistent output seems to be flying just under the radar.

Noah is keenly aware of 2020’s unusual dynamic; he has chosen to face it head-on, releasing even more music. Earlier this week, he commented to me on the phone that Live Poultry Vol. 1 has just been bubbling under the surface right now. He’s hoping that will start to change with the debut of the “Lee’s Chicken x Longanisa” video. 

The visual is directed by BC Music 1st. The video features a true staple in Richmond, Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken. Lee’s has been serving the Cap City since ’91.
