Skinnyy Hendrixx has dropped a new single “Lost in My Rhymes” featuring Illa Styles. This is one of my first introductions to the Lucid Reality MC but he’s been making waves in the Cap City since he dropped his album last year. As a fan, I’m still getting used to his rare cadence, it’s a bit hypnotizing; and, due to the rareness of Skinnyy’s flow, I can see a world where his style could possibly present challenges for MCs to maximize their own tempo on his features. However, Illa Styles is not one of those MCs. The Richmond vet fits perfect on this track. “Lost in my Rhymes” is a smooth introduction to the world of Skinnyy Hendrixx. I’m going to spend the rest of my day going down his catalog. You should too. #WESEEIT
