SPORTS: HIGHLAND SPRINGS ALUM ANDRE INGRAM SCORES 19 PTS IN NBA DEBUT [AND THE NBA GOES NUTS]
It was already a feel-good story when the Los Angeles Lakers signed 32-year old, Highland Springs Alum, Andre Ingram to an NBA contract for the last 2 games of the season. Ingram has been a solid player in the minor leagues for the last decade but what happened last night could only be described as the Basketball Gods (or the almighty God) showing some major love and bringing his journey full circle. Ingram scored 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocks in 29 minutes in his first NBA game against the Houston Rockets.
Ingram stole the show, even in the Lakers lost, and the reaction on social media was amazing! Give that man an ESPY! #WESEEIT
LOVE IT https://t.co/H80FOjRuhm
