THE L’S JUST KEEP COMING IN 2020, REST EASY CHADWICK BOSEMAN

I’m not even going to try to BS everyone, 2020 has me mentally and emotionally exhausted. This year has me heavy with grief. The most recent news of the passing of Chadwick Boseman (43) feels like 2020 is just pilling on. Like, I’ve already kicked the crap out of you (and your culture) and now it’s just time to run up the score.

Like many of you, I also joked that there wasn’t a Black Biopic that Chadwick didn’t love, from Thurgood Marshall to James Brown, to Jackie Robinson, Chadwick did his thing, but then came the Black Panther Atomic Bomb on the culture and the rest is legendary legacy. His work ethic was relentless, and now to learn that he worked undergoing 4 years of cancer treatment…unreal.
