“CONNECTICUT’S NEW HOME” [SHOCKOE BOTTOM, RICHMOND, VA]

Gone but not forgotten, Connecticut no longer sits on top of the Diamond (the former home of the Richmond Braves), or the Lucky Strike building in Shockoe Bottom. However, his photos will last forever. Connecticut provided content for just about ever Richmond photographer, a rite of passage in a sense. I hope you got your signature Connecticut photo while you could. It’s a real Richmond shot to have. #WESEEIT

This photo did take a lot of editing in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. The sky really wasn’t working with the original photo and even pulling that blue out of the sky was a task. Doing so make me adjust the blue in the windows too. Overall, I like the result but the original photo is much more flat.
