HENNY L.O. – “RHYME NISSEN” [A SHEESH FILM]

Mutant Academy’s Henny L.O. has a new album Ree Louis and a new video for the single “Rhyme Nissen.”

On message, Henny told me that Ree Louis represents bold overcoming personality. “Rhyme Nissen” harkens back to the days of bar-heavy rhymes, which is not always commonplace in today’s hip-hop climate. On “Rhyme Nissen,” Henny gives three high-quality verses — on a track with no features. You can tell from the first bar — this is his comfort zone.

Ree Louis started as a funny name that could have been used as a character for me to build a persona off of,” Henny texted. “But really, it is a layer of my personality that I’ve missed. Fuck being cool. I’m just me, and I love bending words.”

Ree Louis is available on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms.

“Rhyme Nissen” is produced by Ewonee. Sheesh is Unluckybastards and Toby Blutz. Sycho Sid on the mix. #WESEEIT
