RVA RAP ELITE’S DEBUT EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS THE EVOLUTION OF RICHMOND HIP-HOP

The debut episode of RVA Rap Elite is a mix of old meets new within Richmond hip-hop. Created by Radio B, RVA Rap Elite is considered the modern day proving ground for those with true lyrical skill.

The cypher is the highlight of Rap Elite live events and Episode 1 featured a lot of cypher footage mixed with archival footage of Richmond legends like Mad Skillz and Kleph Dollaz.

Truth is, episode 1 could have been a short web series in itself, probably three or four individual episodes built for the modern attention span of digital watchers. However, Rap Elite took a long-form format. Episode 1 sets the table for future episodes to uncover even more content, unseen music videos, interviews, and go even deeper in the archives of Richmond hip-hop.

Not to be overlooked, the debut episode features cypher content from Nickelus F, Cane, Easallio, Michael Millions, Vintage A, Radio B, and more. The videos add a special – video music box – touch. Episode 1 is well worth your time. The effort is ambitious and the debut execution is a solid foundation to build a true legacy on. #WESEEIT
