VUU HIP HOP SYMPOSIUM SET FOR THIS FRIDAY – HOSTED BY RICKY PARKER

Virginia Union’s first hip-hop Fellow Ricky Parker is doing great things on campus. Don’t take my word for it, check out the latest issue of RVA Mag and read the story of how Parker is creating exciting events that explore the relationship between faith and hip-hop on Union’s campus. As the fall semester kicks off, Parker is hosting a hip-hop symposium that will feature signature hip-hop creatives from the Richmond area. Michael Millions, Bstfrnd, our very own Senior Writer Hip Hop Henry, Cheats Movement on WRIR co-host Gigi Broadway, Noah-O, Radio B, and more will all be featured.

The symposium starts on Friday at 9 AM at the Claude G. Perkins Living & Learning Center on the campus of VUU (1500 Lombardy Street, RVA).
