Richmond lyricist God Goldin has teamed up producer DJ Mentos to deliver a traditional east coast hip-hop record titled “God MC.” With a flow that channels his heroes, Nas and Rakim, Goldin does what he does best, rhyming is a style that highlights his wit, spirituality, and range. It may not be intentional but, in the video, directed by Goldin’s longtime collaborator Shug Hill, he channels more than just Nas and Rakim’s flow, he harnesses their style and overall vibe as the coolest MC in the room. #WESEEIT
