MUST WATCH: THE STORY BEHIND LITTLE BROTHER’S SURPRISE REUNION

I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh, 2/3 of Little Brother, are back together. They’re working on new music and a plan to do some live shows. Super-producer and college educator, 9th Wonder hasn’t “officially” signed on for the full reunion plan but shared his support.

If you’re like me, you’re wondering how all of this came about. Well, there is a 12-minute documentary that tells the tale of the reunion. It’s a must-watch.

Little Brother could be one of the most underrated groups in hip-hop history. It’s a classic situation of, “if you know, then you know” and if you know – then you probably place LB in the revered space that they’ve earned. If you don’t know – then the significants of their reunion will probably go over your head.

The latest video is the second installment of short-docs directed by Holland Randolph Gallagher chronicling the Durham group. The first short focused on Little Brother’s debut album The Listening.
