NATIONAL SCHOOL WALKOUT – SIGHTS FROM THE RICHMOND AREA SCHOOLS
Schools from around the Richmond region participated in a National School Walkout, in support of stronger gun laws for school safety. Several schools had a moment of silence in honor of the 17 students killed in the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, exactly one month ago.
Here is just a small sample of photos that I pulled from Twitter and Facebook. S/O to CBS6, RTD, NBC12 and several friends on Facebook and Twitter for posting a number of awesome photos (I’m sorry I couldn’t credit you all).
Also, if you want to learn more about the walkout in the Richmond region, listen to my interview with Douglas Freeman Senior Maxwell Nardi. Maxwell does a great job of breaking down the walkout. #WESEEIT
