PIT STOP: BREWER’S WAFFLES GRAND OPENING

RICHMOND – Yesterday, I stopped by the Grand Opening of Brewer’s Waffles and Milkshakes. The new spot is located at 1311 Hull Street, connected to The Well Art Gallery. Ajay Brewer, James Harris, and Chef Josh Reed are the architects of the new gourmet waffle spot.

Brewer’s Waffles opened its doors at 9 AM. I stopped by around noon. The lines were steady and flowing and while there is not a spot to eat inside Brewer’s Waffles, customers don’t have to even have to go outside. Patrons can just walk over to the connected The Well Art Gallery to sit down and enjoy a meal and the artistic vibe.

“The concept is simple, and I’m not trying to re-create or reinvent the wheel; it’s just doing good things, and we thought this was a cool idea,” Chef Josh Reed told Richmond Magazine.

All waffles are available in half ($8) or whole sizes ($12). You can also build your own waffle, selecting a base (traditional, cornbread, gluten-free or a waffle cone), then specialty toppings.

Signature Waffles or Build your own.
