SCHEME TEAM KICKS OFF ’21 WITH “3 WAY PHONE CALL” – AND TEASES NEW ALBUM

You heard the saying, “always bet on Black,” right? Well, if I were a betting man, in 2021, I’d place my money on Block. Scheme Team, which is not limited to but consists of 3WaySlim, Monday Night, Big Kahuna OG, Nitty Blanco, 30onme, (and I’m sure more people and affiliates – S/O Mutant Acadamy, Satellite, etc.), have entered the new year with a classic posse cut “3 WAY PHONE CALL.”

The video is directed by 30onme (Gawd has been killing it). The track is produced by Kahuna. 3WaySlim kicks off the round-robin of flows, followed by Kahuna, and closed out by Monday Night.

2020 had to be considered a successful and momentum-building year for Scheme Team. They produced a lot of content, particularly Monday Night, coming off the success of S. Block Carter (who our senior writer Hip Hop Henry called one of the top projects of 2020), Holly Favored, and Thug Tear with Kahuna. Kahuna, who produced “3WAY PHONE CALL,” blessed his fans with a beat tape (How to Mob, Vol 1), along with continuing his prolific work ethic as an MC. 3WaySlim dropped “3WayGold” early in 2020 (one of my favorites) and was featured often with the Team. All of their work, in the midst of a pandemic, laid the foundation for what could be a seismic shift in 2021.
