“THE WAV” IS THE FIRST SINGLE OFF T.R.I.G’S “SPREADLOVE” EP [VIDEO]

I’m super excited about this project. I’m a T.R.I.G. fan. He is a 3X member of Team Cheats for RVA Rap Elite. But beyond that, I think he is simply a dope MC. He has powerful lyrics, a mesmerizing performance style, and the dude is authentic as hell on the mic.

These aforementioned attributes transfer nicely into T.R.I.G.’s first single, “The Wav,” produced by Skinnyy Hendrixx. “The Wav” mixes T.R.I.G.’s complex and authentic bars with a southern soul melody. On first listen, “The Wav” reminds you of what made the underground southern wave of the 90s popular (think U.G.K).

Digging deeper into SpreadLove, the EP hits a number of angles. Stylistically, it’s a very diverse project. If you just listen to “The Wav” you’ll miss how T.R.I.G. flips his verse on “RAW” featuring Dyfferant or “Farewell Love” featuring Michael Millions.
